Meet Joan & Rod

Rod and Joan Kambouris are proud to call the lush region of Toowoomba their home after moving here in the late 70’s to raise their family.

In 2006 they purchased their beautiful little farm at Budgee on Toowoomba’s outskirts where they decided to grow some herbs and garlic mainly because they had trouble sourcing dried products that were chemical and additive free. After some successful crops and drying of their own products, they decided to share them with family and friends. Much to their delight, the response was overwhelming and they were encouraged to market their products to a wider audience and the little business called Budgee Garlic and Herbs was born.
